Air Fryer Egg-in-a-Hole

A fun, no-mess take on the classic “egg in a hole,” made right in the air fryer. Crispy edges, perfectly cooked egg, and topped with Everything but the Bagel seasoning — all in under 10 minutes!

Ingredients (Makes 1 serving):
1 slice of bread (your choice of bread type)
1 Eggland’s Best egg
Olive oil or butter spray
Everything but the Bagel seasoning (to taste)
Optional: avocado, cheese, or hot sauce for topping

Directions:
1) Cut a circle in the center of the bread using a glass or cookie cutter.
2) Lightly spray both sides of the bread with olive oil or butter spray.
3) Place the bread on a parchment-lined air fryer tray or basket (this prevents the egg from leaking through).
4) Carefully crack an egg into the hole in the bread.
5) Sprinkle with Everything but the Bagel seasoning.
6) Air fry at 375°F for 6–7 minutes, depending on how runny or set you like the yolk.
7) Remove carefully and enjoy as-is, or top with extras like avocado, cheese, or a drizzle of hot sauce.

Variations:
Add a slice of cheese during the last minute of cooking.
Use sourdough or multigrain bread for added texture.
Top with mashed avocado and red pepper flakes for a full meal.
