Hot Honey Crispy Air Fryer Drumsticks

Ingredients:
6–8 Perdue chicken drumsticks
1 tbsp baking powder (not baking soda – helps crisp the skin)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Olive oil spray (optional)

Hot Honey Glaze:
2 tbsp butter
2–3 cloves garlic, grated or finely minced
¼ cup honey
1 tsp chili flakes (or more to taste)
1 tsp apple cider vinegar or lime juice
Pinch of salt

Instructions:
1) Prep the Chicken: Pat the drumsticks completely dry with paper towels.
2) Season: Toss with baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated. You can add a light spray of olive oil if desired.
3) Air Fry: Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 380°F for 10 minutes, flip, then increase to 400°F for another 12–15 minutes until crispy and fully cooked (165°F internal temp).
4) Make the Glaze: In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in honey, chili flakes, vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Simmer 1–2 minutes.
5) Glaze the Chicken: Toss or brush the crispy drumsticks with the glaze and serve hot.
